Making Content :
Video can often be shot on a digital stills camera, on a mobile phone or on a video camera.

Video Cameras which use Tapes (DV Cameras)
Footage from a video camera usually needs to be digitized before it can be edited on a computer. This means recording the video footage into the computer using a video editing program such a Windows Movie Maker, which is installed on most Windows based computers. It can then be edited in the same program, saved and uploaded to the Blog

Digital Stills Camera, Flip Video Cameras, Mobile Phones
Footage from these devices can usually be uploaded straight away, unless you wish to edit it. If you can watch it on a computer it means it can be uploaded.

You can edit this footage, add audio and effects in programs such as Windows Movie Maker.

Animation
Animations can be made in Windows Movie Maker using still digital photos. Take photos in sequence and import them into Windows Movie Maker. Make sure that the settings for the duration of a still image is around 0.5 seconds. This is usually done in the TOOLS > OPTIONS menu. You can add sound as well.

Audio
Audio can be recorded in the Sound Editor program avilable with Windows, but this is quite a limited program. Audacity is available free from http://audacity.sourceforge.net/  It allows you to record and edit audio. Once saved as a .wav or .mp3 file, audio can be uploaded the same way as video.
